He came in today. 7 weeks post-op EXT and Bonegraft. No root tip left behind. I asked how is his healing in the rest if his body. He mentioned he noticed is a little slow lately. I advice to get his blood sugar checked and prescribed peridex twice a day for 2 weeks. He also said he is been chewing on that side. Advice to stop that. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!
TBH not 100% sure. It has happened to me a few times before and I just leave it be. I have brought the patient in every 2 weeks for saline irigation and gave them a monoject syringe to use at home. And slowly but surely they have closed up.
