Guided All-on-x case done today with immediate temporary prosthesis loading.
Anterior MU don’t seem to be completely seated
What’s the acceptable time frame to go back in and fix this?
I’ll probably need to remove the temporary abutments, remove bone to properly seat the MU and pick up the prosthesis again with new position.Lower partial denture due to patient budget is planned next after final insert.
Aw man that is a bit frustrating right? I can see that two of those are not fully seated. If you didn’t notice it during surgery it is likely due to the bone obstructing it.
There is not really a specific timeline to it. I would advise, either do it within 2 weeks, or do it after full osseointegration.
If you choose to wait until osseointegration is complete, you have to make sure to monitor for possible screw loosenings. (its more likely especially because you are opposing natural dentition here.
The frustrating part will be that once you relieve the bone, and properly seat the abutments, they wont match up with the temp cylinders anymore so yes you’ll have to pick them up again like you said.
