We get a lot of questions about implant companies. Here is a high level overview of them:

Neodent - Great surgical kit, not a big fan of the proprietary connection nor prosthetic screw head. Labs complain about this implant because their turnaround time is longer. The implants are nice to place. But sometimes components get stuck on the platform.

Nobel Biocare - One of the original players in the implant game. Decent offering, mixed reviews about customer support, some people are happy and others very unhappy.

Implant Direct - It was one of the great companies for a while. Lots of customer-focused innovation. But its catalog got too bloated and confusing. And now it is within the same umbrella company as Nobel Biocare. They are combining in a strange way and the customer experience may suffer.

Biohorizons - One of the good ones. Decent system, priced medium to high. Good connection, good educational support.

Straumann - The implants work fine. Good restorative options. Use if you have money to burn and want your rep to take you out for a steak lunch.

Hi-Tech - As cheap as they come. Work okay. Don't expect support.

Blue Sky Bio - Strong DIY guided integration, copycats of major systems, a little bit confusing.

Neoss - Decent implant, good design, not much presence in the US. Parts are very incompatible with other systems.

Hiossen - Good guided integration, low price, although too many parts in their kit. Expect to pay more and get a bundle of lots of implants. A little too much of a hard-sell, but you do get a good value.
